A very interesting set of charts sent by an examiner from this board. I have his permission to post the charts, but I didn't ask about using his name.

This is a monitoring test, with 3 questions pertaining to exual contact with minors.

Technique is a UTAH Zone. This can be thought of as a single issue test, but not an event-specific test. It is still a screening test with no known allegation.

The case is slightly complicated, and the test makes interesting discussion for a number of reasons.

Chart 1, page 1.

Chart 1, page 2.

Chart 1, page 3.

-------------------

Chart 2, page 1.

Chart 2, page 2.

Chart 2, page 3.

--------------------

Chart 3, page 1.

Chart 3, page 2.

Chart 3, page 3.

More in a bit.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

The original examiner and I both handscored this test to a deceptive result.

There is observable activity in the mvt sensor at Chart 1 C3, which appears to alter the cardio tracing. Then, there are non-specific/early-onset segment in the EDA and cardio at Chart 3 R2. After marking these, OSS-3 gives SR.

Chart 1 C1 bothers me too, but I'd have a hard time articulating why. He stomps on C1 again on chart 2, but again it's difficult to point to the problem.

OSS-3, in close-and-play or click-n-score mode (without marking any artifacts) scored this test NSR.

Just another reason to look at the charts and not rely on an algorithm to do all the work. Algorithms are great for doing fancy powerful math quickly and with perfect reliability, but it is up to us examiners to run a tidy test, and authenticate each segment as interpretable.

There are some concerns about this subject's breathing, but the examiner runs a nice tidy test.
